Subject: new Output causes jumps and crashes
Author: Benni, 2005-05-14 18:45:43
I just tried the new testing version and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. Songs now change almost instantly. But I notice jumps ranging from 1 to 10s around in the song. Sometimes lamip just exits.
This is on amd64. Any way I could give you more information or is this already known ?

hi benni!
I have finally found the problem... it derives from your glibc (have the same problem), you're using nptl (I'm sure)... you can test this with a simple command: "/lib/libc.so.6" you should see something like "Native POSIX Threads Library by Ulrich Drepper et al" in the output...
so you have 2 possibilities... downgrade to linuxthreads (bad possibility) or wait until we've debugged the core (good possibility) :)
so thanks for pointing out that problem!
regards
Marcus

The other posibility is to use the old core with the old API. :-p
