Hi,
I have compilled lamip with a gcc4 but i can't play songs with the foobar UI :
In the console I have this message : CORE: output plugin failed
I have tried with -out alsa and -out oss and I have the same result.

I haven't tested lamip with gcc4 yet, but I can assure you that the upcoming version will have support for it... If you wanna to help out, it would be cool if you could compile all lamip packages you have installed with "./configure --enable-debug --prefix=/YOUR/PREFIX" again and paste a longer output here on the forum again.

hum... a little more explaination could be helpfull :)
try to compile the core with debug enable. but it seems your alsa (or oss) plugin is not setup correctly in the lamip's config file. (you can found it in your ~/.lamip/lamip.cfg directory.

I have setup manually lamip's config file to play with alsa and it works fine
