I'm a broke college student, but I try to scrounge up a little bit of cash to support software projects that I really like. Are there any plans for a donations page, or if not, is there any other way people like me could help support development of lamip?

mhh. there is lotsa things you could do besides donating money.
(1) hang around in #lamip at irc.freenode.net
(2) install lamip
(3) use lamip a lot
(4) report bugs
(5) try to fix bugs
(6) spread the word about lamip
(7) talk with the devs about ideas and wishes
(8) ...

give me a computer job instead of help building little cars. :), Well end of the joke, phadge say all i think, come on irc (i'm here around 20pm GMT+1) and have good talk on this software. I'm looking for people that could send me ideas, and/or some codes patchs (or plugins) on lamip.
